Saab-Scania's Swedish workshop manual supplement for the first Saab 99 Turbo, model year 1978 (article no. 310805, dated November 1977), to be read with Verkstadshandbok 310755. It covers how the Turbo differs from the standard car and its technical data, special tools, extra service points, the oil cooler, the fuel system's extra enrichment at high speed and load, exhaust and emission control, the cooling fan, and the turbo system in depth: the Garrett turbocharger, boost regulation and the wastegate, the overboost pressure switch, the boost gauge and turbo fault-finding. Then the electrical changes: the alternator, breakerless ignition with its control unit and fault-finding, headlamp wipers, the wiring diagram, and wheels. The text is in Swedish.
