Column A

Proceed as follows:
To determine the time for a given job, use the list of
which work is to be carried out.

~ Find the part on which work is to be carried out (see illustration page).

- The number of the part (object code) is given in column A on the table page.
Then follow the explanations on the table page.

to find the ti

page for the part on

OBJECT CODE
The object codes are in numerical order. Whenever several object codes have the same work
content and time, |. ire listed below one another (between two dotted lines). These codes
are not related to any specific line in column B, and can be combinec’ with any of the lines.

Column G WORK INVOLVED
The work for which the me is allowed is entered here.
Example: 1 denotes replace
5 denotes adjust

- The time specified on the table page for replacement of the exhaust manifold is 1.9 hours.
- N.B. Object code 870 10 is entered in the F columns.

- 870 10 is the object code for the AC compressor, as indicated by the text at the bottom of the table
page.

- The time (1.9 hours) for replacing the exhaust manifold applies if the AC compressor has previously
ben removed or if it is not fitted.

- The time for removing the AC compressor (id No. 01) is 0.4 hours.
- The total time for replacing the exhaust manifold will thus be:

can be identified. If a g fault code (diag trouble code) is entered, the result could be that re-

Also be meticulous when ch

ing localization, y type and action codes.

Decide in each case which fault code (diagnostic trouble code) best covers the cause of the fault as deter-

mined by the mechanic.

Fault codes (diagnostic trouble codes) 61, 62, 71 och 72 should only be used when the real cause of the
fault cannot be determined.

Fault codes (diagnostic trouble codes) for CONNECTION component are 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 and for
