Many dealerg will be aware of this problem and its cures,
but due to the possibility of incorrect dlagnosis (steering
<('t rack, bal-l joints etc)., thiE SDI has been produced. The
information betor* only applies to the latesl hub assy. i.e.

'Svmptoms
d) A loud knock eminating from the front hub area on full lock,
partieularly when reversing on uneven ground.
Cause
The noise is produced by the front rrheel bearing moving in
its housing due to production tolerances.
Recti fication
Replace the wheel bearing. When installing the new bearing
-Lnto the housing Emear the outer face with loctite
