Pages from Saab's own English loose-leaf Service Manual, volume 2:1 Basic engine M1981-88, in the late-1980s typeset edition with a 'Saab 900' footer. It opens with the 2:1 cover and the 022 engine technical data (022-1 to 022-14). Then come section 200 technical description, engine removal with the power train out (B202, M88 Turbo), 210 engine, 211 cylinder head, 212 pistons and bores, 214 valve gear, 215 timing chain, 216 crankshaft, the timing-cover refit, and 220/221 lubrication and oil pump. Doug scanned mainly the 16-valve B202 material, so several sections are partial.
