Pages from the earlier edition of Saab's per-system wiring book for the 900, covering M1984 and M1985-86. It has the same layout and 'Saab 900' footer as the M1987-88 Service Manual 3:2, but different page numbers and component numbering ('22 Fuse box', electronic unit 175). Included: earth connections, starting (p.38), CI fuel, ignition with tachometer 1985 (pp.76-77), APC (pp.90-93), lighting for controls, temperature and fuel gauges, the shift-up indicator (p.218), AC 1985-86 (pp.238-243), central locking (pp.270-273) and radio installation 1984-86 (pp.278-283).
